-9:35 PM ended my last performance with NCWO in tears and joy.
time really flies.
just in a blink,
i've been in NCWO for 4years and today will be my last performance with NCWO.
the day when i first step into the band room to try out instruments during CCA orientation,
till today where i ended my last performance in NCWO,
all the memories still remains clear in my mind.
before the start of the concert item,
i was tearing a little as i tried to motivate my dearest section.
thinking a lot during the parade since it's also my last.
and something hweejoo said made me tear more.
WANLIN WE STARTED OUR PERFORMANCE IN NCWO WITH CRUSADERS AND 男儿当志强, AND NOW WE SHALL END IT WITH INN OF SIXTH HAPPINESS WITH ALL OUR LOVE! it may seem to be nothing.
but for both hweejoo and i,
the whole journey of us working together since the first performance till today was a long one.
and we had been through thick and thins to come so far.
and for our last performance it would definitely be great.
on the stage,
everyone was still giving support to one another and joking with each other.
yet once the curtains are drawn,
we NCWO are all ready to go.
we focused all our minds on INN OF SIXTH HAPPINESS,
on our conductor MRLUM,
on giving our best to make music together in the last performance.
I CRIED.
first time during our making of music together.
and this will be my last.
definitely the INN we played was not as good as during SYF,
yet we played to our fullest,
to our very best,
and with GPI rising up to the max.
i couldnt feel this GPI during the SYF.
yet today,
i felt it during our making of music together.
which made me cant help but teared.
i remembered assuring myself that i would not cry during performance but after.
yet,
i cant control myself.
it was just too much to control.
back to band room with mrlum speeches.
we are his first batch of sec1s.
and he was our first conductor that instilled many values and music-making factors in us.
i rmb times where he motivate us to scale to greater heights.
i rmb times where he joke with us to let us feel relax.
i rmb times where he said stories for us to learn the values inside the stories.
and he is our dearest conductor we all love.
he told us WE WERE THE REASON HE STAYED ON.
im really touched by it.
and i know,
NCWO 6TH BATCH ALSO LOVE MR LUM FOR ALL HIS GUIDENCE AND LOVE HE SHOWERS ON US.
first time NCWO go up the stage without scores.
first time GPI hit max for me.
last time i'm having parade with the band.
last time i'm having performance with the band.
first and will be the last time i cried during our music-making together.
there's lots of first and last during our performance today.
yet there's something that would not be the first or last,
as it will continue forever.
OUR LOVE AND BOND WITH NCWO.
3 more practices to the end.
7 more days to the end.
smile for a better tomorrow
