-9:44 PM finally back from OBS. although people might think it's just a 5-day course, to everyone of us, this 5 days seems like 5 weeks or 5 months man. seriously tired of the whole camp. even though was complaining throughout the camp, but actually still cant deny the fact that it was still kindda fun. DETAILS OF CAMP :
DAY 1 :
reached OBS reception centre and knew our groupings. fish was in group 4 (amundsen), jessi and i were in group 5 (ARMSTRONG), val and cassan were in group 6 (cheng ho). departed for pulau ubin after introducing to us our instructor. reached campsite, and i started to feel like vomiting for dunno-what-reason and was nearly sent back home. but stayed and we cleared the store, and off for kayaking. was quite fun learning about the capsize drill as all of us had a chance to try out capsizing and being rescued by partenrs. next went out to further part of the sea and instructor gave us a challenge. make the whole ARMSTRONG stand up on their own kayak and stay there for until we finish a proper cheer. was kindda worried to fall in but we all succeeded in the end! =) and after kayaking had to cook our own dinner , rice + baked beans + magiemee + hotdogs. finished everything and was soon time to pitch the tent and lights out time.

DAY 2 :
woke up at 5.20 if im not wrong, and unpitched the tent. went for breakfast and then for trust fall. supposed to fall from a high platform and trust your teammates on catching you while you fall. all about trust i believe. after that went for belaying and we aall had a chance to belay our friends. normally when we go for a camp, the camp instructors would normally be the ones belaying us cause they are afraid we might cause danger to others. however, this time gotta try out belaying ourselves and know how triing it is to keep pulling the ropes for the others. BUT FUN! then after lunch went for flying fox which was where a lot of people were getting excited. we will FLY down building of about 4 storeys high and the teammates will be the ones helping you to break your fall in case you crash into the ground. but the breaking fall part was super painful for the hand as the friction is acting on the gloves. jessi super kelian la, she helped with the rope thingy and in the end make till the gloves spoiled and her hand kana blister. >_< then there was this scene of our DEAREST SANDRA. she came down feeling super scared and then she cried after reaching the ground. but there was camera crew over there video-ing and interviewed her and she was crying while being interviewed. then she came complaining to us about how bad she look just now and yet people go interviewed her so she went for a second interview. then she sat at the side there and started cleaning her hair with her towel and dun even bother to come help out cause everyone got their own duty they have to do. in the end when we called here to help she just walk slowly over still caring for the freaking hair. worst thing, she didnt even take her helmet along and when HAIRI shouted for her helmet she went " HUH STILL MUST TAKE HELMET AH, OK LOH! " HELLO PLS LA. never wear helmet then wanna come here to help out you die not others' problem le la. and think your hair the best in the world meh? rebonded still so ugly, you are totally pathetic de can. think you chio think again man. YUCKS. then after that raining heavily (cat 1) so delayed the time to trek to the other place to sleep so cook dinner first. cooked 5 packets of magiemee + tuna + campbell soup but in the end jessi, karin and i only drank campbell soup. the rest were also hungry and just gobbled down the food but our DEAR SANDRA just BUAYPAISEH and took our three share of food and dun even bother about us eating nothing. in the end we were super irritated and just decided not to eat anything except the soup. ANYWAY, while cooking the cambell soup,OUR DEAR SANDRA say " faster close the lid and stop stirring le, let the soup cook like this." hello! cooking campbell soup that time must keep stirring to let the soup get the taste de can. dunno how to cook just shut the BIG MOUTH up la, nobody appreciate it man. and we are in a CAMP, she drank the soup still therre complain say dun have pepper and salt. ARGH wan get those just go home la, nobody wan you to come here ANYWAY. in the end jessi just rebut her to go get salt from the sea water cause it's super salty and she just stop talking. HOW I WISH SHE COULD FOREVER JUST SHUT HER MOUTH UP! then at night went for night trek for about 30-45 min to the wild for us to sleep at. and reached there together with the other BRAVO team, ARMSTRONG, chengho and amundsen and time to ligthts out.
DAY 3:
woke up at 1.20 for patrolling around the sleeping area for all the 3 groups, ARMSTRONG chengho and amundsen which were called the BRAVO team. went back to sleep after that back woke up at 4 plus again to vomit. dunno what got into me and jessi was super shock too. felt very unwell and just toss around without sleeping after that. rise and shine at 6 and prepared for the tiring expetition later in the afternoon. played a few games to see who go off for the land expetition first, and while wiating, val came to me and she started crying when she saw me. she had serious sunburn for her whole face, hands and everything was very red. she requested to get home but her instructor didnt allow. in the end val, jessi, angeline, cassan and me started crying together about the whole trip as we felt super tired of it. fish nearly cried out and we were like super funny to be crying in a group together la. =) soon off for expetition and went back camp 2 to throw rubbish + take medicine and started raining (cat 1). waited and planned the routes for the land expetition and set off at around 1.20. we walked to a german girl's shrine, then off to the highest hill in pulau ubin. but at the foot of the hill started raining and we were out of time so just decided to walk to another campsite which was at the otherside of pulau ubin of where we were. and i was super irritated at a person while waiting at the shelter. SANDRA and chrisye were in charge of navigating to the campsite and they wanted to cut down the no of breaks. so it was left with 2 in the end. but she suddenly pointed at me and said, " you sure you ok?" PLS LA, everyone there she only aimed at me and say this is trying to mean something la. im not stupid ok. still gave lame excuses like saying i thought she was not feeling well. just shut up la. FOR THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE JOURNEY WHEN WE SET OFF, I HAD NEVER ASK FOR ANY BREAKS OR STOP AT ANY POINT TO ASK PEOPLE WAIT FOR ME. YOU ARE THE ONE THAT IS ALWAYS CARING FOR YOUR DARLING CHRISYE AND ALWAYS REQUESTING FOR PEOPLE TO SLOW DOWN TO LET CHRISYE REST. EVERYONE WHO HAS EYES CAN SEE THAT YOU ARE THE ONE THAT KEEP STOPPING THROUGHOUT THE JOURNEY AND YOU DARED TO PINT YOUR FINGER AT ME AND SAY ME. GIVE YOURSELF A BIG TIGHT SLAP FOR THAT MAN. super irritated by that and i just replied her " you got a problem with me just say la. " and she went diam. after that set off and everyone was super tired at the point. we were all carrying a bag that was at least 7kg for about 5 hours for the whole expetition and our hands were also filled with bottles or tents or food. and our dear SANDRA still dared to say us walk slow when her bag was the lightest of ALL when we tried her freaking bag. when people ask for help to carry stuffs, she dun even bother to help unless it was chrisye who was the one needing the help. PLS LA, WANNA FLIRT OR WHAT ALSO NOT MY PROBLEM LA, BUT CANT YOU JUST OFFER SOME OF YOUR HELP TO OTHERS THAT ARE ALSO IN NEED TOO? HOW HELPFUL MAN! then reached campsite at bout 6 plus going to 7 and found out from the other groups that they mearly just went to the shrine and walk back. this is so unfair to us la! we had to walk to the furthest checkpoint while they just had to walk to a very near checkpoint and back. sians. had the best dinner that day at the campsite as it was dinner provided for us. and had briefing about the next day event , SEA EXPETITION.
DAY 4 :
was suppsoed to walk up at 5 and wake everyone up to meet at 6. in the end my watch didnt ring and we all woke up at 5.30. quickly unpitched the tent and ARNSTRONG all rushed to the meeting place. but when we rush off, we just realize that the other groups, chengho and amundsen just woke up at 6 and havent even prepared going off yet. in the end we were all late waiting for them to settle finish. after breakfast, ARMSTRONG went for logistics stuffs as the other groups still havent done their capsize drill yet. and our dear SANDRA again made us irritated. HAIRI asked for 7 strong people to help carry all the bags from the 3 groups to the other campsite first and our dear SANDRA volunteered herself. HELLO she only carried a bag and was complaining about how heavy it was, what about others like US that carried 2 bags that didnt even complain? SO FREAKING OBVIOUS SHE ONLY WANNA GO WITH CHRISYE LA! then we nanchiau girls sat down for a real gossiping session about HER and we were all ANNOYED by her. ARGH. anyway, everything was ready and BRAVO set off at 10 plus to the campsite we were for the 1st day. kayak with jonathan at first but changed to isella as sophie had seasick. we kayak about half the pulau ubin and cut through a swamp at half way and back to the main sea. was super tiring to keep kayaking non-stop and to endure with the heavy rain. had to help with carrying the kayak etc but OUR DEAREST SANDRA JUST STAND THERE DID NOTHING AND KEPT WORRYING ABOUT HER PRECIOUS HAIR. anyway, the swamp was kindda fun to kayak as we were all worrying we would get stucked in the tree branches all around the place and and about bang-ing into other kayaks. everyone was laughing while being stucked inside the branches and was frantically trying to get out of them. haha. in the end, we used about 8 plus 9 hours to finish our whole sea expetition back to the orignal campsite. people might think it's alright to travel for the whole pulau ubin but do you now how tiring it is to keep paddling non-stop for continuous 8 plus hours? this must be once in a lifetime for me man. reached campsite, cooked dinner and went back to pitch tent and LIGHTS OUT.
DAY 5:
new day new beginning. last day of our camp and everyone starts to feel excited about getting out and get home. cleaned the store etc and had the last group conver with our instructor HAIRI. sat in the circle and talk about everyone's highest and lowest point of the whole camp.my highest point was when we reached the campsite for both land and sea expetition cause both were very tiring and it's just like a gift for you to finally reach your ultimate goal point to rest. lowest point would just definitely be the time during the land expetition where we had to carry our heavy bags and trek for 5 plus hours. admin stuffs were all done and we got back our hp + wallet. wanted to go back to the beach to find our FEARS we wrote and burried but it was washed away by the sea. but it's good since we can just throw the FEARS away from us. soon was time to leave pulau ubin and time to go back. bid goodbye to HAIRI and we went back to punggol jetty where everyone was busy buying the OBS shirt. bought the shirt and went off as daddy reached and i shouted over to DEAR SANDRA that i dun like her. whether she heard it or not is not my problem since i did what i wanted to do all along. =)
back to my home sweet home with LAKSA that i yearn for the past few days and jies even bought me my favourite milk tea the day before for me to drink. normally she would just say it's too ex and wun bother to buy for me. but this time, really thanks. =) ate finish and had a long bath and use com for a while. till i got super tired and got to sleep. slept until daddy wake me up for dinner CHICKEN RICE they bought for me and i even thought i was still dreaming. i still thought i was going to pitch a tent and sleep on rocks and without any comfort i could find. cried in front of daddy about the whole trip of how tedious it was and finally i was back to my home sweet home! never love my house like the way it was now. =) overall the camp was super tiring tedious and everyone almost wanted to give up, including me, but i still cant deny thr fact that we all learnt a lot of useful stuffs like not giving up even though we are in a very difficult situation. although i might seem as though i hate OBS throughout the whole camp, but actually i really learnt a lot from it. however, like what i would still say, OBS is just a once in a lifetime and there will not be a second time. >_<
anyway, posted so much about OBS, didnt talk about he genting trip. we achieved GOLD from the international band competition held in genting. =) and now all band members could proudly say, we are a GOLD band. and now next up is our concert, CON FUOCO 2. support us! and i shoud also be giving more attention to band since the concert is up in a week time. WANLIN JIAYOUS! =)
